Frequently asked questions
Is DuetWallet a replacement for Honeydue?
For most couples, yes. DuetWallet does what Honeydue does on transaction tracking, plus the guided conversation Honeydue doesn't have. The exception is if you specifically need Honeydue's larger Plaid bank coverage; check your bank before switching.
Can I import my Honeydue data?
Not at launch. Export your Honeydue data to CSV and we'll add CSV import in a follow-up release. The historical data still has value for reviewing patterns, but the Money Date doesn't need imported history to work.
Why doesn't DuetWallet have a free tier?
Free tiers in finance apps are funded by ads or data sales. We didn't want either. The 7-day full-access trial is our compromise. You get to actually use the product before you decide.
Does Honeydue have an Alignment Score equivalent?
No. Honeydue is a tracking app. The Alignment Score is a DuetWallet-specific construct that requires the weekly conversation to feed it data.
